The Met Office and BBC Weather are predicting snow and sleet in Glasgow on Friday, as a yellow warning for ice is still in place.
As temperatures plummeted from peaks of 10 degrees Celsius on Thursday and approached freezing overnight, snow is expected to fall on Glasgow today.
The Met Office is forecasting sleet in the city later this morning, with intermittent snow showers in the afternoon and into the evening.

BBC Weather is also predicting sleet showers between 8am and 10am, while hail showers might fall in the afternoon.
A weather warning for ice was issued yesterday, which will remain in effect until 11am on Friday.
The Met Office is warning motorists of icy patches, especially on untreated surfaces, which could lead to tricky travel conditions.
