Lorraine Kelly has revealed she has lost 11 pounds since joining Weight Watchers.

The Glasgow born presenter, 62, was previously announced as a brand ambassador for the weight loss company after admitting that she wanted to be the "best version" of herself since gaining weight in lockdown.

Five weeks into her diet plan, Lorraine told fans on Instagram that she was feeling happier and healthier than ever after achieving her goals.

She reposted a message from her Weight Watchers mentor Suzy, who said: "This is what success looks like! Massive well done to Lorraine, not only have you achieved your half stone but you've lost a whopping ELEVEN pounds!

"Three pounds for a stone! Weight Watchers UK and I are super proud. What a fantastic journey you're having."

Lorraine previously said she wanted to lose weight, feel fitter and improve her sleeping pattern after succumbing to comfort eating during the pandemic.

She said: "I don’t feel like myself anymore. I don’t have the energy; I’ve been comfort eating, drinking a few glasses of wine in the evenings and spending too much time on my bum. I can’t fit into any of my clothes either."
