HUNDREDS of people gathered in Glasgow today to take part in a march against racism.
The Stand Up to Racism demo was part of a day of international protests to mark UN Anti-Racism Day under the slogan 'World Against Racism & Fascism'.
Those taking part gathered in Kelvin Way at 11am before marching to George Square for a rally at 12.30pm.
The crowd was addressed by various speakers including Scottish Health Secretary Humza Yousaf, Aamer Anwar, and MSP Paul Sweeney, amongst many others.
The demonstrations are taking place against all forms of racism, Islamaphobia and antisemitism, in opposition to racist scapegoating of refugees, migrants and Roma, Muslim and Jewish communities, and in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
Anti-racists of all ages gathered for the march in Glasgow and held signs with statements such as "fight today for a better tomorrow", "asylum seekers and refugees are welcome here", and "the future is intersectional".
