Police swarm Kirkintilloch and tape off Barclays bank over incident
Police swarmed Kirkintilloch town centre and taped off a Barclays bank after an incident this morning.
Officers arrived on the scene after the alarm was raised at around 8.50am in the Cowgate area.
It comes after reports of vandalism to a premises forcing police to cordon off the property.
Investigations are continuing into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.50am on Tuesday, April 12, officers received a report of vandalism to a premises on Cowgate, Kirkintilloch.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
