A MCDONALD's restaurant has been locked down due to an ongoing police incident.
The Linwood store at the Phoenix Retail Park is currently closed to all customers.
Emergency services including police and ambulance were in attendance.
One police vehicle remains at the scene.
Cones have been placed across the entrance, with a staff member on guard to ensure no-one enters.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received report of a woman having taken unwell within a premises at Phoenix Retail Park in Paisley around 12.20pm on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
“The woman was conveyed to Royal Alexandra Hospital where she died a short time later.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
