A RANGERS legend posed for a photo with staff during a visit to a Glasgow restaurant.

Ally McCoist, the former Rangers star and current pundit, enjoyed a meal at Caffè Parma, in the city's West End.

The Italian restaurant, on Hyndland Road, took to social media to share a picture following yesterday's visit.

Bosses wrote on Facebook: "Our old friend @allymccoist9 popped into Caffè Parma today for a visit! Thanks for coming in Ally.

"We have plenty of table bookings available for the rest of the week, be like Ally and get down to enjoy the sun from our outdoor terrace!"

In February, the Glasgow Times reported that newly signed Rangers player Aaron Ramsey paid a visit to the popular restaurant.

The Welsh footballer posed happily for a photo with staff members.

Employees said: "This week we had the pleasure of welcoming Aaron Ramsey as he settles into his new home in Glasgow, where he has signed with Rangers FC having just transferred from Juventus.
