Glasgow Botanic Gardens’ much-loved Orchid Fair returns this weekend after being disrupted by the pandemic.
Co-hosted by Glasgow City Council and the Scottish Orchid Society, this year’s event is the 23rd time the fair has been staged within the Kibble Palace and the famous glasshouse is expected to be brimming with stunning arrays of the best orchids in the country.
Alan Mackenzie, chair of the Scottish Orchid Society, said: “I am delighted that we are able to co-host the Orchid Fair again.
“Some of the best orchid growers in Britain will be in Glasgow to showcase their orchids.
“It is a great opportunity for members of the public to start or add to their orchid collections, and obtain friendly, expert advice.”
The Orchid Fair will open to the public between 11am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free.
