A FORMER care home in Glasgow will be transformed into offices for a local housing association.
The building on Reidhouse Street, Springburn, has been empty since Abbeyfield House closed in the summer of 2020.
NG Homes, who own the building, applied for permission to turn it from a care home facility to offices.
Glasgow City Council approved the plans.
The converted building will provide eight office spaces on the ground floor and nine on the first floor, along with ancillary office facilities and staff areas.
Cycle storage space will be added to the rear garden area.
Planning bosses have ordered the opening hours to be restricted from 8am to 8pm.
