PLANS for a new block of flats in North Glasgow have been refused by Glasgow City Council.
The site at Murano Street was formerly occupied by an electricity sub-station and a small residential building, but both have been demolished.
It's next to a six-storey student housing development of the Murano Street Student Village.
A previous planning application was also refused in December 2020.
The recent proposal was for a four-storey residential building with eight flatted two-bedroom homes.
Eleven supportive comments were put forward by members of the public, meanwhile, six objections were received.
