On Friday 29th April, an offical launch of Avenue will take place, introducing the current leaders within the club scene alongside live singers and bands.

A new era for Eden Groups venues sees an even greater focus on the best live music, bold programming, new artists, new commissions and artist residencies including the very best in local DJs.

Bryan Higgins Marketing Manager for the Eden Group, said: “Lanarkshire, including Coatbridge, have always been spaces for audiences to discover and enjoy music that’s cracking open the status quo.

"Avenue Nightclub for the over 25s brings that bang up to date, with a programme of artists, live singers and local DJs who are among the most celebrated and progressive musicians working in the live music scene today, and giving a platform to incredible and often under-represented female talent.”

Mark Burns, Chief Executive, said: “After the pandemic with nightclubs in our cities and towns closing for 18 months, or moving out of town centres, we’ve introduced Avenue Nightclub for the over 25’s with live music and live DJs. Avenue will add to our vibrant late night culture and strengthen our much needed night time economy with the long ahead recovery phase of the pandemic, which has decimated our late night economy.”

Michelle Armstrong, Eden Group said: “It is brilliant that Avenue Nightclub is throwing open its doors and creating a new club night which will welcome some of the most celebrated DJs and live electronic acts and – most importantly – will be accessible to all of Lanarkshire and afar. Lanarkshire's nightlife and culture is one of the most diverse and varied in the central belt of Scotland, and I couldn’t be happier to support the newest addition to Lanarkshire's clubbing scene.”
