A WOMAN caught driving while over the alcohol limit was given four months to show she can clean up her act.
Cops were called to Liberton Street in Carntyne, near to Carntyne Primary School, on August 2, 2020, to reports of a drink driver.
Officers attended at the scene around 2.50pm and saw Gemma Drew acting "erratically".
Glasgow Sheriff Court was told that the 26-year-old had lazed eyes, behaving erratically, slurring her words and smelling of alcohol.
Police carried out a breath test, which showed she was over the legal limit for driving.
The court heard she had been caught on CCTV behind the wheel.
Her solicitor Ron Mackenna told the court that Drew was voluntarily attending alcohol support services.
Drew , from Riddrie, was given a structured deferred sentence by Sheriff Bernard Ablett and told to return to court in four months for a review hearing.
