COSTCO is still top of the chart with no increase in price from last week.

This week we’re taking another look at the best fuel prices in Glasgow for motorists keen to save money.

Costco is, again, by far the cheapest option with petrol coming in at 5p per litre cheaper than the next nearest rival.

Petrol is 153.7p per litre while diesel is 167.9p per litre.

Using comparison website PetrolPrices.com the Glasgow Times found Morrisons to still be the next cheapest for petrol.

But you'll now have to travel just outwith the Glasgow boundary to Morrisons Cambuslang you'll pick up petrol for 155.7p per litre.

Morrisons Auchinlea is 157.7p per litre.

Asda is next on the list.

Petrol at the Toryglen, Parkhead, Robroyston and Govan branches is the same price as last week at 158.7p.

Morrisons at Newlands and Anniesland are both also 158.7p per litre.

Sainsbury’s Braehead is 158.9p per litre and Gulf in Govan Road is 159.9p per litre, as is Gulf Castlemilk Road.

If Tesco is most convenient for you, you'll pay a little extra with the Shettleston branch charging 160p per litre and St Rollox and Rutherglen branches charging 160.9p per litre.

For diesel, after Costco Morrison’s Newlands is again your best bet at 170.7p per litre.

Asda’s Toryglen and Parkhead come in at a slightly higher 171.7p.

The BP Paisley Road West filling station is also in the top places for cheaper fuel at a close 171.9p.
