POLICE officers have been seen with riot shields during an incident in Glasgow's Southside.
Peat Road, near Nitshill Road, was closed for a short while but has since reopened.
Cops were called to the scene at 1.45pm today, following reports of a disturbance.
An eyewitness said: "The officers had riot shields and a house was taped off. The road was closed for a wee while too.
"There were about seven police cars and vans."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to reports of a disturbance on Peat Road, Glasgow around 1.45pm on Thursday, 28 April, 2022.
"Officers are at the scene and there are no reports of any injuries."
The force would not reveal any further information.
