A FORMER school teacher will stand trial accused of performing a sex act in front of a boy.
Gerald King, 69, allegedly used lewd, indecent and libidinous practices towards the boy aged between seven and 11 at a primary school in the north of Glasgow.
Court papers state that the offence took place on an occasion between August 1991 and June 1995.
It is stated that King was a school teacher and a football coach at the time.
The charge claims King invited the boy into a room where he was changing where he then performed the sex act.
On Wednesday, King pleaded not guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the single charge.
A trial was fixed for December by sheriff John McCormick.
King, of the city's Springburn, had his bail continued meantime.
