ANDY Murray has shared a post on social media calling Boris Johnson a "liar" after damning photos emerged of the Prime Minister drinking at a leaving do in Downing Street during lockdown.

The three-time Grand Slam champion responded to the latest revelations by sharing a drawing by The Connor Brothers on his Instagram story which depicts Johnson alongside text that reads “All my life I’ve been a liar and that’s the truth”, reports our sister title The National.

And it isn't the first time the Scot has slammed the Prime Minister's behaviour after he criticised the refurbishment of his Downing Street flat on Twitter earlier this year.

In March, he posted: "Didn’t the Conservative prime minister spend 10s of thousands of taxpayers' money on gold wallpaper that keeps falling down?"

Leaked photos obtained by ITV News emerged on Monday showing Johnson raising a glass with several other people at a leaving do for former director of communications Lee Cain on November 13, 2020.

This was eight days after Johnson imposed England’s second national coronavirus lockdown.

At the time, people were banned from social mixing, other than meeting one person outside.
