A WOMAN who tried to steal nearly £200 of vodka from a supermarket was given the chance to show she can change her behaviour.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard how Nicola Wark was caught on CCTV in Morrisons at Glasgow Fort in Easterhouse.
The 35-year-old was seen in the alcohol aisle opening three cases of vodka and removing the security tags.
Around 3pm on June 4, 2021, Wark, from Craigend, was seen walking through the self-scanner without making any attempt to pay.
The court heard the alcohol was worth £170 and was recovered at the scene.
Wark's defence brief said she had been going through a difficult time.
Sheriff Allan Findlay asked Wark if she was now in a better place before deferring sentencing for six months to allow her to be of good behaviour.
