A Bishopbriggs restaurant is seeking permission to cover its outdoor seating with a canopy.
The branch of Frankie & Benny’s in Strathkelvin Retail Park wants to erect a cover for its external seating and has applied for planning permission from East Dunbartonshire Council.
The Bishopbriggs branch of Frankie & Benny’s survived a 2020 restructure, triggered by coronavirus lockdowns, which saw parent company The Restaurant Group close 125 outlets. The same company also operates the Chiquito and Wagamama restuarant chains.
For further information on the proposed canopy visit East Dunbartonshire Council’s website where the planning application can be found under the reference number TP/ED/22/0341.
