JAGS fans will host a festival of football and solidarity as players from communities across Glasgow compete in a new tournament.
The Glasgow Times first told in April of the Jags For Good initiative, an independent, fan-led group mobilising Partick Thistle fans for social justice causes in Maryhill and across Glasgow.
Now, on Saturday, the group will hold the inaugural Copa Del Jags tournament that will see six teams compete.

Neil Cowan from Jags For Good said: "The aim of the tournament is to bring together folk to show solidarity through football.
"There will be players there from a whole host of different communities, as well as a strong contingent of Jags fans, and it’s looking set to be a fantastic day.
"We’re encouraging people to come along to watch the games and to show their support.
"At a time when so many people are struggling and when there’s so much that people feel powerless about, we want to show that football – and football fans – can lead the way in showing compassion and unity."
Since its launch, the group has raised almost £8000 to buy Partick Thistle season tickets for local charities in Glasgow and organised foodbank donations drives at the club’s home matches.

Now they have brought together six teams to compete in the first seven-a-side Copa Del Jags tournament.
The tournament is taking place at Garscube Sports Complex in Maryhill, with Glasgow University - which owns the venue - offering it free of charge.
Alongside the football games, there will be a foodbank donation drive held to support the work of Glasgow North West Foodbank as well as a range of other stalls.
Entry is free for all spectators – Thistle fans and non-Thistle fans alike – with games kicking off at 11.30am and running until 3.30pm.
As part of the run-up to the tournament, Partick Thistle captain Ross Docherty delivered a training session to players who are participating in Saturday’s tournament.
Teams taking part in the tournament include Afroscots Dreams United, Jags Foundation, Partick Thistle Community Trust, Big Hearts Foundation, The Well Society and Glasgow Piraten.
