"We had hoped to pivot the business but this no longer seems possible.

"I want to thank all the communities at Comicrazy. We wouldn’t have become such a premier store without you. Whether you bought a can of juice, a booster pack or liked a Facebook post, it meant the world to us.

"I want to thank all of the staff who helped run Comicrazy, past and present. I’m very proud of the effort and commitment that went into making Comicrazy.

"We know this may come as a great shock to some of you. Please know that I’m sorry and that we really tried everything to stay open."

More than 170 customers have shared their devastation following the announcement.
