A MAN who asked strangers to fist bump him was spotted with a knife in his hand.
John Hillen, 20, was in Kelvingrove Park on April 5 last year, when he approached two people and asked them to fist bump him.
The pair declined, and when they turned to walk away, they spotted a four-inch knife in Hillen’s hand.

Police were contacted and traced him. He told cops he discarded the knife in a bush.
The weapon was found and seized.
Hillen, whose address was listed as Hamilton, was arrested, cautioned, and charged and made no reply.
He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court last week for sentencing.
His lawyer said: “He found the knife on the ground and picked it up. It was a foolish decision he made.”
Sheriff Simone Sweeney deferred sentence to see if Hillen is suitable to appear in the youth court due to his age.
He will return to court in July.
