A man will stand trial accused of aggressive behaviour towards police during the Rangers title party.
Colin Melville, 38, allegedly behaved in a threatening or abusive manner at Glasgow's Queen Street near George Square on May 15, 2021.
Thousands of jubilant Gers fans gathered in the city centre landmark that day to celebrate the club's first Scottish Premiership win in a decade.
Melville is said to have repeatedly shouted, swore and gesticulated in an aggressive manner towards police officers.
The charge states he went on to repeatedly grab riot shields from police officers and kick the shields.
Melville is said to have been subject to two bail orders at the time.
On Friday, Melville pleaded not guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the single charge.
A trial was fixed for January next year by Sheriff Iain Fleming.
Melville, of the city's Springboig, had his bail continued meantime.
