UPDATE: Stephen has been traced safe and well.
A SEARCH has been launched for a man reported missing from East Kilbride.
Stephen Lynas, 61, was last seen on Eaglesham Road at around 4.45am on Monday morning.
Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for information to help trace him.
Officers believe he made his way into Glasgow city centre.

He is described as 6ft with thinning hair.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black beanie hat, cream jumper, black trousers and brown shoes.
Police say it should be noted that the picture of Stephen above is approximately 20 years old.
A more recent picture has not been provided.
