A MAN got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend at this year's TRNSMT festival - as hundreds of people cheered him on.

Footage of the proposal was captured by TikTok user yogamegs, who uploaded a short clip to the video app yesterday - and appealed to help find the happy couple.

It showed the emotional man at a security barrier in front of the King Tut's stage. He is seen holding a ring in the air, as his girlfriend walks toward him during Callum Beattie's set.

The soon-to-be groom gets down on one knee as hundreds of revellers clap and cheer the couple. He places the ring on his girlfriend's finger after she agrees to marry him.

A loud cheer erupts as the bride and groom-to-be kiss. 

Scots musician Callum Beattie can also be seen in the video as he runs from the stage. He is also seen posing for photos with the newly engaged couple.

In a viral video shared on Instagram, the bride and groom can be seen dancing and kissing while the crowds around them cheer and clap for the couple.
