A man who tried to prevent cops from arresting his neighbour was handcuffed himself.
Christopher Marshall, 37, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court last week following the incident on April 26 last year.
Police were called to a home in Milton of Campsie at 2am, in relation to a separate matter. When officers entered the close, Marshall was there.

He was described as being in a “highly intoxicated state”.
Prosecutor Jennifer Sillars said: “Due to the incident that had been reported, police requested the accused return to his home.
“He initially complied with this, however, soon after, the accused attended the property police had been called to.
“Officers were dealing with an arrest. The accused tried to gain entry and shouted repeatedly towards police ‘get the f*****g cuffs off him’.
“He was warned regarding his behaviour and warned to desist. He angrily tried to enter the property to intervene with the ongoing arrest.
“He was thereafter placed under arrest himself. He was cautioned and charged and made no reply.”
Marshall was returned to his flat after calming down.

Sheriff Shona Gilroy said: “There are issues with alcohol. The report is telling me he is motivated to abstain from alcohol.”
She addressed Marshall and said: “It seems to me that you have told social workers you want some support.”
He was placed under social work supervision for one year.
