A SEARCH has been launched for a man who raped a woman in a park in Paisley.
We previously reported that the serious sexual assault took place in Durrockstock Park at 9pm last night.
Police have since revealed the victim was a woman, aged 44.
The suspect is described as being in his 50s with dark grey hair.
Cops say it’s thought he was wearing a dark top or jumper, dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Detective Inspector Alex Allardyce said: “Officers are carrying out enquiries to trace the man responsible and would ask anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or concerning in the area at the time to please get in touch.
“We would like to reassure locals that additional patrols are in place and anyone with information should contact officers on 101 quoting reference 3611 of July 16, 2022.”
