A YOUNG boy was approached by a stranger in the street earlier this week.
The five-year-old was on Summerfield Street, Dalmarnock, when the incident took place at 8.30pm on Tuesday night.
The boy's mum wrote on Facebook: "Some b*****d tried to take my five-year-old son away on Tuesday night on Summerfield Street."

She said it was "lucky" someone she knows was there at the time and added: "lucky for me she was out on the street or my baby would be gone."
The incident was reported to police, who are looking into the matter.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a child being approached on Summerfield Street, Glasgow, around 8.30pm on Tuesday, July 12.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
