Still Game star Jane McCarry says 'people huv tae know' about a talented young comic who wowed a sell-out crowd with a knockout impression of her character made famous by the smash hit BBC series.

The star, best known for her role as Isa Drennan in the iconic show, was stunned when Reis Sneddon took to the stage during an 'evening with...' event hosted by radio presenter Ross Owen and delivered a pitch-perfect spin on the loveable Craiglang busybody.

Glasgow Times:

Reis even brought along his own props to the gig at the Tudor Hotel in Airdrie on Saturday - and Jane took to Twitter to praise the rising star's performance.

She posted: “Reis you are the original Isa. Watch this boy folks, he’s brilliant.”

In the short video posted online, Jane can be seen howling with laughter as Reis grills characters Jack and Victor on their whereabouts. Jane is then seen joining him onstage and the pair perform an impromptu routine for the crowd.

Glasgow Times:

The BAFTA award-winning actress, who grew up in Glasgow’s King’s Park, joked that perhaps they should team up as a comedy duo.

Speaking exclusively to the Glasgow Times, Jane said: “Reis is brilliant. I’ve never seen such a good impersonation of Isa.

Glasgow Times:

“We should be a double act, Isa and her sister Betty. When Mark Cox, best known for playing tight-fisted Tam Mullen, watched it he thought it was me!”

Ross added: “Jane and Reis were absolutely fantastic on stage together. The crowd loved them and I think they would really be the perfect double act.

“People loved the way they just transformed into Isa. It was completely unscripted and just shows how incredibly talented they both are."
