GLASGOW Science Centre is celebrating its 21st birthday with a bang - and plans to use the event to ignite passion for science and technology.
CEO Stephen Breslin and five-year-old Lara Wallace were starting the celebrations early, giving a preview to its Summer Birthday Party on Friday.
From 6pm til 9.30pm there will be live music, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, food and drink, live science demonstrations and the opportunity to meet Scotland's researchers showcasing their latest work.
Scotland’s largest not-for-profit science centre opened its doors in 2001, and ever since has been on a mission to make STEM more accessible, hoping to ignite everyone’s understanding and passion for science and technology
People of all ages are invited to join in Friday night's fun with tickets available for £7.50 per person with under threes going free.
