A new exhibition celebrating Glasgow’s rich street art scene is opening this Friday at The Glue Factory.

Storytellers is a 75-artist strong mixed media show that features big names from Glasgow’s street art scene including Priest, Mark Worst, Roberto, Chelsea Frew, and OhPanda, among many others.

The exhibit is created by artists, for artists, with the staff behind the scenes working as volunteers so artists can keep 100% of profits for any piece sold.

For one weekend only, an impressive display of sculpture, painting, printmaking, video work, photography, and large-scale murals will be open to the public.

Artists have been working for more than six months on unseen pieces made exclusively for the exhibit held at non-profit Maryhill community space, The Glue Factory.

Inspired by what they see as a need in Glasgow for more events like this, organisers of Storytellers hope to make it an annual occasion.

A spokesperson for Storytellers said: “Glasgow's street culture has been thriving for years and we decided it was time to create a large-scale exhibition to display it.

“We wanted to give the artists an opportunity to be part of a professionally curated exhibition to raise the bar of what is possible in the city.

“We feel this show will inspire future artists and also show the public what local artists are capable of.”

Storytellers will take place between July 22-24 at The Glue Factory, 22 Farnell Street.

Entry is a donation of £3.
