A beloved West-End Italian restaurant will host a free book signing and breakfast in honour of a new novel.

Eusebi Deli is hosting the ‘meet the author’ event on Wednesday, August 10, with Maggie Rose to introduce her new book, Dark Dante.

The morning presentation will be followed by a typical Italian breakfast of pastries and coffee including cornetti and bomboloni.

Maggie is a playwright and teacher who divides her time between the UK and Italy. Her work has been published and performed in both Italy and Scotland and this is her first novel.

The book is described as an “engaging and evocative mystery thriller” about a young British woman in Florence who is trying to solve a string of murders that she believes are influenced by Dante Alighieri’s Inferno.

The event is free, but guests are encouraged to donate to the Eusebi team’s climb of Mount Kilimanjaro for hospitality charity Hit Scotland.
