A new free pop-up exhibit shedding light on sustainability in Scotland has opened in George Square.
Consumed, the interactive exhibit, features several converted shipping containers housing displays about the circular economy, food, and clothing.
The family-friendly displays include a circular economy wheel, a teach-yourself-to-mend sewing display to show kids and adults alike how to repair their clothes, and a mini-kitchen that teaches the virtue of eating carbon-friendly foods.
A collaboration between Zero Waste Scotland and Edinburgh Science, the exhibit aims to inspire people to contribute to a more sustainable society.
Consumed also brings awareness to the Scottish Government’s current public consultation on proposals for a Circular Economy Bill, which is open for feedback until August 22.
Consumed will be in George Square until Thursday, August 18.
