A free holistic health day event for families was held in Glasgow to encourage engagement between lead health professionals, residents and businesses.
The event ran at the Bridgeton Community Centre on Saturday.
A range of stalls and services were available for attendees to browse through including free massages, reflexology and other treatments, information on what people can do at home for their health as well as advice from local therapists, health professionals and businesses.
Katarzyna Jagiela, 46, a clinical complementary therapist from Glasgow’s East End, who organised Saturday’s event, said: “I wanted to make sure that if someone from our community needs advice, talk, consultation or treatment they know how to get it without any problem.”
She added: “I was very excited about organising the event. Around 70 plus people came to see us. I think it was a success.
“It was an amazing experience for all the individuals and businesses involved. All the businesses were happy with it and would do it again.”
