A MAJOR retailer has been given the go-ahead to transform a former Next store in Glasgow city centre.
We previously reported that Deichmann signs reading 'coming soon' appeared in front of the former Next unit on Argyle Street, which closed in January this year.
The footwear store has since been given permission to make alterations to the shop front, including installing two illuminated signs, a further three signs and a click and collect kiosk.

Planning bosses at Glasgow City Council approved the proposals.
This comes after we reported that 'to let' signs had appeared at the Sauchiehall Street branch of the German store.
