A CHARITY zip slide organised by Skypark has raised more than £10,000 to help vulnerable children.

Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard presenters Gordon Duncan, Gordon Dalziel, and tenants of the business park were among those who took to the sky on Thursday to raise funds for Cash for Kids.

As part of the fundraising efforts, 13-year-old Zoe Mennie, from Glasgow, donated her pocket money and Carol McMullen of 101 raised £1000.

Gordon Duncan, the host of Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard team, said: “The Skypark zip slide is an amazing fundraising experience. Thanks to everyone that has supported us.

“The money raised has a huge, positive impact on the thousands of children the charity supports throughout the year.”

Clyde Cash for Kids guarantees that donations will go towards bringing hope, healing and happiness to children.

It supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, and neglect and those who have additional needs. As a long-standing fundraising partner with Clyde Cash for Kids, Skypark has raised £40,000 over the years for the charity.

Glasgow Times:

Angela Higgins, strategic lettings advisor of Resonance Capital, said: “We’re thrilled that Zoe Mennie, Carol McMullen and the Clyde 1 Superscoreboard team joined in our massive push for Cash for Kids. With more families facing difficult choices every day, every penny raised will go directly to local children in need.”
