UPDATE: The fault has been fixed and services are now returning to normal.
TRAIN services are facing major disruption this morning due to a signal fault.
ScotRail has announced services travelling between Glasgow Central Station and Barrhead/ East Kilbride have been affected.
Engineers are currently on site to fix the problem.
Ticket acceptance is in place on McGills bus route 374 travelling between Shawlands - Clarkston - Giffnock - Willliamwood - Thornliebank.

Buses have also been organised and are expected to arrive at Central Station and East Kilbride Station.
According to ScotRail Journey Check, trains are facing delays of up to 55 minutes.
Network Rail Scotland tweeted: "We're responding to a signalling fault impacting Barrhead & East Kilbride routes.
"We've got techs on site doing what they can to fix this.
"Once we have more information from our staff on the ground we'll provide you with a further update.
