Rod Stewart is bringing his tour to Glasgow this month where the iconic star will be playing for two nights at the Ovo Hydro.

He will be playing on November 29 and due to popular demand will be performing again on December 3.

No one under the age of 14 years old will be available to attend the event. 14 and 15-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult.

What items are banned from Rod Stewart’s gig at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow?

All bags and visitors may be searched when entering the venue. Bags larger than A3 size will not be permitted. In general, audio and video recording equipment and professional cameras are not permitted at OVO Hydro events.

Furthermore, no food, drink, bottles, or cans can be brought into the venue, other than for medical purposes. Proof of need for medical reasons may be required.

How to get to the Glasgow OVO Hydro for Rod Stewart?

Train: The OVO Hydro has its own railway station (Exhibition Centre) allowing easy access from all over Glasgow.

There are six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Glasgow Central station, departing from Platform 17 (low level).

A covered walkway will connect you from the train station to the venue.

Bus: The X19 Stagecoach service operates near the Scottish Event Campus, stopping on Finnieston Street only a few minutes walk from the venues.

Parking: A multi-storey car park operated by Glasgow City Council is available for OVO Hydro visitors. Onsite pay machines are on the ground floor, or level 2 (walkway level) of the car park.

An OVO Hydro drop-off/pick-up zone is located at the west of SEC Centre. A map of this is available on the OVO Hydro website.

The drop-off/pick-up zone runs an accessible transfer service to the OVO Hydro, dropping off within 130m of The OVO Hydro south main entrance.
