A PUB in Glasgow has been covered in red poppies to mark Remembrance Day. 

The Bristol Bar, on Duke Street, decorated its premises on Sunday night, in tribute to the armed forces. 

From tonight until Sunday, the pub will be lit up red in honour of Poppy Scotland.

Remembrance Day takes place this Sunday, and bosses at the pub have invited more than 60 veterans for a complimentary day. 

Several army vehicles will also be on display outside, as a remembrance ceremony will take place outside at 4pm.

In a post on Facebook, bosses at the pub shared the images of the new look and wrote: "Tonight we start our week of paying our respects to our armed forces and our fallen heroes.

"Tuesday night the bar will light up red for Poppy Scotland and remain that way until Sunday.

"On Sunday, we welcome over 60 veterans for a complimentary day and we will have several army vehicles on display outside the bar. So bring the family for a photo and grab a goodie bag for the kids.

"We will have a small remembrance ceremony outside the bar at 4pm to pay our respects.

"Queen Elizabeth accordion band and Pride of the North Flute band will be live from 2pm till 10pm.

"Lest we forget, we will remember them."
