DUNDEE FC has released a statement following an ongoing police investigation.
We previously reported that former Celtic player Leigh Griffiths was one of three men to be arrested amid a sports gambling probe.
Paul McGowan, 35, is believed to be another of the three men. The Dundee FC player was released without charge after being arrested.

A statement from the club read: "Dundee Football Club are aware of the ongoing Police Scotland investigation as reported in the media this morning.
"The club will support the authorities with their inquiries and will not be making any further statement at this time."
A police investigation remains ongoing.
Cops turned up to Griffiths' home in Bothwell at 7am yesterday morning.
A force spokesperson said: "Following a pre-planned police operation on Thursday, December 1, three men, aged 37, 35 and 32, were arrested in the Bothwell, Bonnyrigg and Airdrie areas in connection with an investigation into alleged gambling incidents in sport.
“All three men were released without charge pending further enquiries."
