A train operating company has warned customers not to travel to and from Scotland, due to extreme weather.
Avanti West Coast, running services between Scotland and England, advised people not to get on services for the rest of the day.
This comes after flooding on the West Coast Main Line, between Lockerbie and Carstairs, which cause cancellations and delays.

The company added: "Customers with Avanti West Coast tickets for Friday 30 December to and from Glasgow, Edinburgh Waverley, Lockerbie, Motherwell or Haymarket who now cannot travel can claim a full refund.
"Customers who need to travel can use their tickets up until midday Saturday 31 December and are advised to check before travelling, expect disruption and significantly longer journey times."
