AN ELDERLY woman is accused of having more than 17,500 'NATO military cartridges' linked to organised crime.
Sarah Murphy, 71, allegedly possessed the weapons at her home in Rutherglen on September 29, 2022.
Court papers state that Murphy did not have a firearm certificate for the 17,556 cartridges.

The charge claims that the alleged offence "was aggravated by a connection to serious organised crime."
A second charge says that Murphy had possession of heroin with intent to supply.
It is said that this allegation took place at the same time and place as the firearms charge.
Murphy appeared in the dock today at Glasgow Sheriff Court where she pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutor Ramsay Cunningham said: "Bail is not opposed.
"The Crown seeks bail with the standard conditions and invites the usual dates to be fixed."
Sheriff Robert Carr set a trial for March with a hearing also taking place earlier in the month.
Murphy, still of Rutherglen, had her bail continued meantime.
