A petition has been launched in a desperate plight to save a Glasgow supermarket from impending closure.
We previously reported that frozen food chain Farmfoods will close their Baillieston location on February 26 due to a "commercial" decision.
A spokesperson told the Glasgow Times: "The decision to close the shop was a commercial one but we are very grateful to all of our customers who have been shopping with us since the shop opened and we do still value your custom."

But the East End community has since responded with a petition to save their local shop which will be "greatly missed" after the doors close for good.
A Change.org petition reads: "The Farmfoods store in Baillieston has been there for many years and serves the local community.
"It will be so greatly missed by many in the area, especially those who cannot drive as the nearest Farmfoods store isn't accessible by public transport."
