A popular restaurant and takeaway in Paisley has scooped a top award.
Indian by Nature, based at Moss Street, won Scottish Restaurant of the Year at the 1st Nation’s Curry Awards 2023.
A ceremony which celebrates the best curry houses and chefs across the UK took place in Manchester last night.

The “prestigious” event recognised and celebrated the talents and hard work of individuals and businesses within the curry industry.
Indian By Nature was one of a number of Scottish venues to take home an award.
Swadish in Glasgow won Indian Restaurant of the Year Scotland, meanwhile, The Curry Leaf in Ayr won Takeaway of the Year Scotland and Takeaway of the Year UK.
Taal Restaurant in Strathaven took home Curry Restaurant of the Year Scotland.
A spokesperson for The 1st Nation’s Curry Awards 2023 said: “It was an unforgettable night, filled with incredible food, vibrant energy, and passionate conversations.
“We celebrated the finest in the UK’s curry scene, recognising the creativity, innovation, and exceptional service that have become synonymous with this beloved cuisine.
“The UK’s curry industry is a vital part of our culture, and these awards recognised the exceptional talents of the individuals and businesses that make it so special.
“Congratulations to all the winners and nominees, and thank you to everyone who participated and supported this event.”
