GLASGOW’S Kelvin Hall will be hosting autism-friendly activities next weekend.

The free quiet sessions will be held on Saturday, March 4.

The National Library’s access centre will be open with reduced sound and light levels. The 12-screen video wall and curated touchscreen apps can be used to look at film highlights from the collections.

Private viewing rooms will be available for browsing the moving image archive and the library’s digital collections.

There will also be a Glasgow Life Museums session from 10am-12pm to learn about some of the fascinating objects in their handling kits.

You can also find out about some of the weird and wonderful chairs in their collection and have a go at making your own chair to take away.

Meanwhile paid soft play and climbing sessions can be booked online.

They will run with reduced capacity, and no music or flashing lights.

The soft play sessions will be held at 11.15am and 1.30pm and clip n’ climb sessions will run at 12pm and 1.15pm.

Book via the Glasgow Club App or call 0141 287 2627.
