A MAN has been charged with murder after a woman's body was found at a home in Hamilton.
Walter Buchanan, 64, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court yesterday.
He made no plea to the murder charge and was remanded in custody to be committed for further examination.

It comes after cops were called to a property at Hamilton Park North on Saturday, February 18.
A woman, aged 37, was found dead within.
A Police Scotland spokesperson previously said: "A 64-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a woman at an address on Hamilton Park North, Hamilton on Saturday, February 18, 2023.
"He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, February 27, 2023.
"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
Buchanan will appear again in court within the next week.
