A MAN has been arrested following a disturbance on a train.
Cops were called to Bowling railway station shortly before 9.30am this morning following an alleged assault.
A man, aged 36, has been arrested.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Bowling railway station at 9.24am on March 16 to reports of an assault on-board a train.
"Officers attended, and a man was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been taken to police custody where he remains.”
The victim was not injured.
ScotRail revealed that services were disrupted due to the incident.
A tweet at 9.50am read: "Services through Bowling are being disrupted by a passenger causing a disturbance. The police are on their way. This will affect all services to/from Helensburgh and Balloch."
An update 12 minutes later read: "The passenger has been removed and services are now getting back on the move."
