A clip of a star Celtic player being hounded by fans while walking on Buchanan Street has gone viral.

Kyogo Furuhashi has been seen filming a documentary for his native Japan, with various clips doing the rounds on social media.

In one video, which has amassed over 65,000 likes on TikTok, the 28-year-old is walking down Buchanan Street in the city centre where is continually approached by excited fans.

Passers-by stop the striker and ask for photos, while others call his name as he walks past.

At one point, a city cleansing worker shouts "yass Kyogo" as they walk by with their colleague.

Fans were loving the video, with one commenting: "Love it. Just casually strolling about the town."

Another wrote: "He's the man, hail hail."

A third added: "Rangers fan here but Kyogo seems like a very nice person."

The video was then edited with a similar shot of legendary midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura in Glasgow when he played for the Hoops between 2005 and 2009.

It comes after we reported that Kyogo made a young fan's day when he joined him for a kickabout in Kelvingrove Park as part of the documentary.
