OLLY Murs has thanked fans in Glasgow for an "amazing night" after his Hydro gig.

The Troublemaker singer, who first rose to fame on The X-Factor in 2009, performed at the venue last night as he kicked off his Marry Me Tour.

In an Instagram story recorded after the sold-out show, he thanked "loyal" fans for their support and said being back on the Hydro's stage after four years 'blew his mind'.

He said: "Glasgow, thank you for an amazing night.

"Four years it's been since I've come and done an arena show here and honestly, it absolutely blew my mind.

"It's just good to be back doing this, I love it so much and I love you guys, thank you for coming and I hope I get to do it again.

"I don't know if it will be my last ever arena tour, you never know in this game but you guys as fans are so loyal and amazing so thank you for bringing it to life tonight.

"Thank you for coming I love you all so much."

Murs also revealed his hamstring was "in tatters" following the performance after he carried out a move he hadn't practised in rehearsals.

He said: "Wow, what a gig, what a gig.

"Hamstring is in tatters.

"Never rehearsed that move in the rehearsals, but I dunno why I went head right to the floor during the end of that performance whatever song I was doing, I can't even remember but my hamstring just went ping."

The Marry Me tour will continue in Newcastle tonight.
