A GLASGOW photographer is trying to trace the owner of a set of pictures after she discovered film negatives on a city centre street.

Rhianonne Stone found the film lying on Bothwell Street outside Aurora House on Saturday, March 18.

Now, she is trying to track down those in the photos with the hope of getting them back to their owner.

After scanning the photos, Rhianonne believes due to the clothing the pictures were taken in the late 90s.

The 27-year-old said: "Once we scanned them in, we realised these photos were definitely taken before 2006 because there were ashtrays.

"I worked in fashion for 10 years as a stylist and I’m pretty certain by looking at the clothing we’re talking 90s."Glasgow Times:

After further research, Rhianonne also believes the pictures are from an event associated with Kilmarnock Football Club and says she plans to contact the club.

She explained: "As we started scanning them in, I pointed out that every single person was either wearing blue or black, that was it, and then we noticed there were blue candlesticks in the candle holders.

"In one of the photos, there’s a photo of some food, and you can see the corner of a logo, it’s so so frustrating you just can’t see enough of it.

"But when we got to the last few photos, there’s a big wall that is covered in photos of people at a football game and every single person in that photo is holding up a scarf that is black, white and blue.

"We know nothing about football, so we called around a few people and someone mentioned it could be Kilmarnock.

"We googled Kilmarnock Football Club and the colours are right, they’re perfect, even the photo we saw that was printed on the wall it’s definitely their scarf and the logo could definitely be their logo."

Photographer and videographer Rhianonne has documented her search for the owner of the pictures on Instagram where her reels have gained around half a million views, but is yet to find anyone who recognises any people in the images.

She is determined to get them back to the owner as she says they "were obviously precious to someone at some point".

Rhianonne said: "I’m a bit of a romantic.

"If there was a set of photos I had lost from 20 years ago and someone found them I would want them back.

"I’m a photographer and photos mean so much to me.

"I just would love to give this memory back to someone who was a part of it and say ‘don’t worry, it got found’.

"The film was developed, but I don’t know if they were printed, maybe they don’t have the photos any more.

"If I found someone’s wallet on the street I would want to give it back to them, I found someone’s memories on the street so I would really like to get it back."

She added: "There’s some characters in the photos, there’s some people I feel even if they had aged 20 years you’d still recognise."
