A hit BBC series is being filmed in a Glasgow corner shop.
Shetland is expected to return to screens for an eighth series with shooting taking place at various locations across the country.
On Thursday, film crews were spotted at a shop on the corner of Trongate and King Street in the city.
Joining the new series after the departure of Douglas Henshall is After Life and Extras star Ashley Jensen, who was captured on the set by our photographer Colin Mearns.
Jensen will play an inspector with the Met Police who is forced to return to her native Shetland to retrieve vulnerable witnesses to a gangland murder.
She was later seen on Miller Street, where a red London bus was also being used for a scene.
Also joining the cast is Downton Abbey's Phyllis Logan, Jamie Sives from Guilt, Dawn Steele from Holby City, EastEnders star Don Gilet and Ann Louise Ross of River City fame.
Gaynor Holmes, commissioning editor for the BBC, says: "We couldn’t be more delighted to see Shetland return with such a stellar cast and a brand new, taut and thrilling murder mystery to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
"We’re very excited to see the show embark on this fantastic new chapter, with its unique blend of haunting atmosphere, rich character and emotional storytelling."
