Members of a popular rock band were spotted in a Glasgow restaurant amid their UK tour.

Hard rock group Gun dined at Italian eatery La Lanterna on Hope Street over the weekend.

The Glasgow band is joined on their tour by Dom O'Riley, who is the father of Celtic midfielder Matt O'Riley.

Staff from the restaurant shared the photo on social media, writing: "Glaswegian band GUN - Official dropped in for a spot of lunch over the weekend! They are currently touring the UK with special guest Dom O’Riley."

The band, which first formed in 1987, released their latest studio album, The Calton Songs, last year and it featured revamped versions of their classics as well as some new tracks.

Included on the album is a reworked version of their song Better Days, originally released in 1989.
